Try on our sustainable fashion for yourself! Visit us in Petaluma at our brand new, first-ever retail store! Grand opening this EARTH DAY, April 22nd, 2018.
The new store is located at 110 Petaluma Boulevard N, Unit A, a spacious and historical building in the downtown heart of this vibrant Sonoma County tourist destination. Once inside, customers can experience the handcrafted, quality clothing for which INDIGENOUS is known, and have the opportunity to learn more about the company, its artisans, ethics, and mission. The store’s decor and fixturing features local, recycled materials, while the walls are decorated with compelling photography of organic cotton farmers and artisans, providing a window into their fair trade supply chain.

Peru has the longest continuous history of textile production in the world, going back almost 10,000 years. Invented long before pottery and just as humans started agriculture, Peruvian fiber manipulation began with simple spun fibers, moving on through cords and nets. By 500 C this rudimentary craft had developed into complex weaving, employing practically every technique known today.
