Emily Stoffel has been a self-proclaimed food-enthusiast since before the term “foodie” was born. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in gastronomy, she began cooking at a young age and soon realized that her passion for food reached beyond her own mouth. Her greatest love in life is breaking bread with family and friends and sharing the joy of passionately prepared food with others. A former publicist and marketer by day, Emily represented clients in the restaurant/hospitality, health & wellness and sustainability industries for nearly 10 years. Nowadays, she spends her days with her 3-year-old daughter, Lana, and authors the popular food & lifestyle blog, The Pig & Quill, where she shares original recipes, adventures in parenting and other salty scribblings. She currently lives in Half Moon Bay, CA with her family.
