As a pioneer in eco-friendly fashion, we have an unceasing commitment to the exclusive use of all natural, organic cotton. This includes advocating that other brands do the same. Together, with all who wear our INDIGENOUS clothes, we are transforming the fashion industry.
Our organic cotton is produced on small, often family operated, farms. Most of our growers are located in northern Peru near Trujillo, Amazonas, and a handful are in southern Peru. Our organic certification is provided by Skal, a non-profit that surveys and certifies organic production. According to the Organic Trade Association (OTA), conventional cotton uses approximately 25% of the world's insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides. By choosing organic cotton clothing, you are actively keeping those toxins out of our waterways and soil. The organic cotton we use to produce clothes is also not genetically modified. In our PURE collection, the organic cotton is color-grown, promoting biodiversity among cotton plants.
